  • Yes. Dr. Generator provides mobile, on-site generator repair throughout Houston and surrounding areas. We come to your location to diagnose and service your generator whenever possible.

  • The call-out fee covers travel to your location and on-site diagnostics. In many cases, repairs can be completed during the same visit. If the generator cannot be repaired on-site, the call-out fee still applies and covers the service visit and diagnosis.

  • If on-site repair is not possible, we will transport your generator to our shop, complete the necessary repairs, and return it back to you once the work is finished. All repairs, parts, and labor will be quoted and must be approved before work begins.

  • We primarily specialize in portable generators. We service most major brands including Honda, Generac, Predator, Westinghouse, Champion, Firman, Duromax, Craftsman, and others. If you’re unsure about your generator, give us a call and we’ll let you know.

  • Yes. No-start issues are one of the most common problems we handle. These are often caused by old fuel, etc.

    We’ll diagnose the issue and explain the repair options.

  • Yes. We offer generator tune-ups and preventative maintenance to keep your unit running properly—especially before hurricane season or extended use. Maintenance helps prevent no-start issues and unexpected failures.

  • No. Our service is mobile. We come to you. If shop repair is required, we handle the pickup and return so you don’t have to transport the generator yourself.

    It is more cost effective if you can bring it to my shop. You only pay a $65.00 Diagnostic fee (which goes towards the cost of the repair).

  • Availability varies based on demand and location. Same-day or next-day service may be available. The fastest way to check availability is to call or text us directly.

  • Emergency and storm-related service availability may vary. We recommend scheduling maintenance before storm season to ensure your generator is ready when you need it most.
